So you doubt me... Doubt my powers! Today i shall show you all! (behind cut due to many pictures)

It's doubted that i created such a work of art as the meatshake. unfortunately i lack both a pork chop or a chicken breast so i had to do it with the next best thing... BACON!

First off to get you all in a good and happy mood.

CATS! now you're all happy and nice on to the Bacon!

Here is the bacon in question. Supplied by my local store and my employers as it happens... Mmmmm i got this bacon for 15% less because of that.. anyway bacon.

Here the bacon is cooking. Now as you can see the bacon is in the oven.. the oven is the best place to cook the bacon because if you fry it your basically adding fat and what you really need to do is remove as much of the fat as possible. if you don't you need up with a greasy shake and that's not so good.

here is the bacon at the halfway point. I've taken it out of the oven to filter off some of the fat that's seeped from the bacon. now i will at this point say this, i had to take these all myself so it's hard to take a picture of yourself holding a hot baking tray tipping fat away and take a picture of yourself at the same time so you'll have to take my word for it.

Now here we see the bacon after about 30 minutes in the oven.. now some might say this is over cooked and i would agree normally if i was putting this on a sandwich but that's not what i'm doing with it. The reason i've cooked it so much is for an easy blend, it'll break up easier in the blender.

Now this is my blender. i, like any bloke, bought this on the power of it's motor alone. i wasn't too concerned with special features and such like just how powerful it was. I did look at something that had an 1100w motor in it but it was about the same in price so i decided i'd cut back to a 750w motor for about £70. It's lovely, very nice and simple it's got a big dial on the front where you set the power and speed of the blend and thats about it.

here is the ice cream i shall be using for the shake. Cornish for a slightly higher quality. Again 15% cheaper then normal

We now add half a pint of milk to the two scoops of ice cream. This is my normal base for many a blend.

Milkshake now with added BACON!

aaaah the blender at work... marvelous.. *wipes a tear from his eye*

The blend is done, now this amount should just about fill a pint glass.

Mmmmm look at it, nice and thick and smells of bacon.

now for the taste test...

Mmmmmmm Bacon flavoured... I must say i'm a bit disappointed i should have used more the two slices of bacon as it was unsmoked bacon. the full bacon flavour was lost slightly. So next time. more bacon or maybe smoked bacon.. But all in all not a bad Meatshake.

Damn that bad ham why does it tease me so! okey... so it wasn't ham this time around i don't know what it was all i know is i've eaten something that isn't being nice to me. so i feel terrible and what has annoyed me more, i've just missed top gear again damn it! And to top it all off word is that snow is on the way.... not that i believe a word of it, we here in england don't get snow, we get thick rain. alas tomorrow i am in work alone again so if there's a funeral i'll be out in the cold digging it all by my lonesome, Anyone who wants to come join me in a bit of digging you're free to come.

i'm off to sit in bed in front of my big TV and my 360, Ah too play in the snow....

I need some advice, i'm going to upgrade my pc in a month or so, would it be worth upgrading to a AM2 motherboard or try out an Intel? I'm a bit devided now i normally like AMD stuff but i'm hearing a few good whispers about some of the newer intel chips.

Well today just got a lot worse... phone call from the boss, i'm in work tomorrow at 7:00am, one went this evening, big wig, we're looking at hundreds of people attending... 12:30 funeral, normally thats not so bad, but we've got a massive pile of wood chippings to move thats sitting in the drive and our power barrow is one wheel down and we have no petrol. oh life is good.

Well we've got the new bloke coming monday, which means i'm finally free to have holidays. but it seems to plan for my holiday seems to have run into a little problem, so i might need to find somewhere to go for a week. I could just spend my time here but i don't really want to have a week sitting around the house i want to get away from everything. today has just been a bad day..

I don't want tomorrow to be friday i want it to be saturday so i can sit in bed all day and do nothing. but then again i do have a strange urge to do something this weekend but i don't know what i might go into town on a hunt for something... if i do i hope i don't suffer any horrible moomin flash backs... so creepy... but alas i'm not sure what to do.

In other news works going okey, should have my new pc by next month as soon as they sort out my pay, bloody CO-OP managers, was hoping to have had it by the end of this month but contract problems means it hasn't happened yet. It's looking like rain tomorrow which means one soaked me, hopefully though i'll be off early from work so i'll be able to stop off at the bank and get some cash in there so i can sort out my WoW account which ran out today.

had a lovely time with Khran last weekend it was fun having him around it's a shame i don't get to see him more often. So many hugs to him for keeping my company last weekend. we should see each other more since it's nice and cheap travel

sphelx is rather ill and depressed, once again i can do nothing about it. only wish him well.

Tonight has been rather odd i shall not go into details though earlier i was feeling pretty good now i feel strangely blank. but on an up note atleast today was payday YAY Funds!
